5 Easy Breakfast Preps for Busy Mums

Mornings are chaotic in any household with kids — especially when you're juggling the breakfast requests, packed bags, and trying to start your day with something that isn’t cold toast. If you’re looking for healthy, delicious breakfasts you can prep ahead, here are 5 of my tried-and-tested favourites that keep me energised (and sane) during the morning madness.

1. Chia Pudding Jars
These are a lifesaver. Mix chia seeds, your favourite plant milk, and a bit of maple syrup. Leave overnight in cute glass jars and top with fruit in the morning.
Shop my go-to chia seeds (large bag, amazing value for money!), aesthetic jars, and vanilla protein powder

2. Overnight Oats
A classic. Oats, Greek yogurt, nut butter, and a splash of milk — ready to grab from the fridge.
These stackable meal prep jars are a must for this.

3. Protein-Packed Muffins
I make a big batch on Sunday. They're perfect for grabbing on the go with a coffee.
I use this silicone muffin tray and vegan protein powder.

4. Smoothie Bags
Prep bags with spinach, banana, berries, etc. — freeze and blend with milk in the morning.

5. Pre-Boiled Eggs + Avocado Slices
Protein-rich, quick to assemble, and easy to love.
Store in these BPA-free glass containers.

Final Tip:
Batch prepping on a Sunday for just 30–40 minutes can save you SO much stress. You deserve a nourishing start, even if it’s in between toddler negotiations and mascara.
